“Tonight we got a great effort from Emma on the mound,” he added. “She threw a one-hitter and was in control. Defense was on point, too. We caught everything we should have also. Really good game for our girls tonight.

“Offensively, I think we had 12 hits,” he added. “Multiple hits from Katie Sams, Saige McClure, Bella Sizemore, and Ellie Adams. Several others had hits too. Clay County is very good  their record doesn’t demonstrate just how good they are. They are going to be a tough out when post season rolls around. Coach Rice has a young, talented squad, and he has them headed in the right direction. Madison Southern tomorrow and South at home Thursday before a road trip to Frankfort this weekend for two tough games in the Capital City Classic. Go Jags.”
