Redhounds’ losing skid hits four games 

CHOCTAWHATCHEE, Fla. — Cody Philpot’s Corbin Redhounds suffered their four loss in a row on Tuesday, dropping a 5-1 decision to Wisconsin’s Monona Grove.

The Redhounds (3-5) held a 1-0 lead until the third inning. Monona Grove took the lead for good with two runs in the fourth inning to make the score 3-1 in its favor. They added two more insurance runs in the sixth inning to secure the win.

Lucas Tarvin started the game for Corbin, going three innings, allowing one hit and no runs while striking out three batters. Ethan Abner followed for an inning, giving up a hit and two earned runs. Hunter Todd pitched the final two innings, surrendering four hits and two earned runs. 

Noah Cima led Corbin with two hits while Kade Elam delivered a home run, an RBI, and a run scored. Cam Estep, Clay Botner, and Abner finished with a hit apiece.
