BARBOURVILLE — Brandon Hillard’s Barbourville Tigers advanced in the 13th Region All ‘A’ Classic Tournament after defeating Lynn Camp in three innings, 16-1.
The Tigers surrendered a run in the top of the first inning and followed by scoring 16 unanswered runs.
Connor West got the win on the hill, tossing three innings while allowing one hit, and one earned run. He struck out five batters.
Caleb Woods had the Wildcats (2-3) lone hit and RBI in the loss.
Jaxon Collins led Barbourville (3-2) with two hits, two RBI, and two runs scored while West had two hits, an RBI, and a runs scored while scores. Luke Hillard delivered a hit and two RBI while scoring twice. Gavin Frazier had a hit, two RBI, and one run scored while Jacob Burdine finished with a hit, an RBI, and two runs scored.
