Seven errors leads to 11 unearned runs during Jaguars’ 15-2 loss to Madison Central 

LONDON — After falling behind 2-0 in the top of the first inning during Tuesday’s game against Madison Central, North Laurel answered in the bottom half of the inning to tie the game at two apiece.

It looked like the game was going to be a back and forth affair, but the Indians added two more runs in the third inning before putting the game out of reach in the final three innings, winning, 15-2.

The Jaguars were their own worst enemy in the loss, committing seven errors that led to 11 unearned runs while getting outhit, 16-5.

Cameron Smith and Bradyn Evans finished with a hit and an RBI apiece while Carter Kelley, Tanner Houchens, and Jude McWhorter finished with a hit apiece.

Dylan Hurley took the loss, lasting 4.1 innings while giving up six hits and three earned runs. He finished with three strikeouts. Evans tossed 2.2 innings, allowing nine hits and three earned runs while fanning three batters.
