Lady Yellow Jackets drop 13-0 decision to Richmond Model

RICHMOND — Williamsburg fell to 0-4 after suffering a 13-0 loss to Richmond Model.

The Lady Yellow Jackets fell behind 4-0 in the first inning and 8-0 after two innings of play and couldn’t recover.

Williamsburg was limited to six hits while allowing 12 to the Lady Patriots.

Megan Prewitt and Brooklyn Taylor led the Lady Yellow Jackets with two hits apiece while Taylor Ballew and Maddie Goodin finished with a hit apiece.

Kyli Monhollen pitched an inning, allowing three hits and four earned runs while striking out two batters. Taylor tossed three innings, allowing nine hits and four earned runs and finishing with four strikeouts.
