HARLAN — The Harlan Lady Green Dragons made a statement to all of 13th Region on Tuesday that they can’t be taken lightly after handing Corbin it’s worse loss of the season while collecting a dominating 74-32 victory.
Four players scored in double figures for Harlan with Peyshaunce Wynn leading the way with 19 points. Cheyanne Rhymer added 18 points while Aymanni Wynn and Kylie Noe scored 15 points apiece.
Harlan led 16-10 at the end of the first quarter and 30-18 at halftime before using a 27-7 run in the third quarter to put the game out of reach.
The Lady Green Dragons led 57-25 entering the fourth quarter before securing the 42-point victory in the final eight minutes.
Lydia King led Corbin with 10 points while Kylie Clemens had five points and Addy Wilson finished with four points.
The win, Harlan’s third in a row, improved the Lady Green Dragons to 18-12 while Corbin falls to 16-9.
