The Lady Redhounds improved to 20-14 with the win while Bryan Station fell to 8-27.

“What a night for our girls,” Corbin coach Krystal Jones said. “We traveled to Lexington tonight knowing we had a tough matchup ahead of us, and it did not disappoint. A five-set thriller, and our girls found a way to pull out the win.

“We couldn’t be prouder of the fight, grit, and heart they showed tonight,” she added. “There were plenty of ups and downs throughout the match, but they continued to battle, stayed together, and found a way to finish. Those are the moments we love to see as coaches.

“With postseason right around the corner, this was exactly the kind of challenge we needed,” Jones continued. “It was a fun night, a great team win, and one of those memories these girls will carry with them long after the season ends. We love this group and the way they continue to fight for one another. We still have work to do, but nights like tonight remind us just how special this group is and what they’re capable of. Go Hounds.”
