STANTON — Bella Comley scored twice and Lanea French added another goal as South Laurel battled Powell County to a 3-3 draw in girls soccer action.
The Lady Cardinals continued to show progress as a team, matching Powell County throughout the contest and finding the back of the net three times.
“The girls fought the whole game,” South Laurel coach Amy Corum said. “They’re starting to mesh as a team and getting stronger with every game.”
