“Our team is growing up and playing together as a team,” Whitley County coach David Halcomb said. “I’m very happy for them. This makes our fourth win in the last five games. We pounded out 15 hits and were able to push runs across when we needed to. There’s some things we need to clean up on defense, but we will. We will learn from our mistakes, keep having fun and continue to keep getting better. Good road win for us. Go Colonels.”
