Pitching duo of Parman, and Allen silences Madison Southern’s bats

RICHMOND — The pitching duo of Cooper Parman and Kip Allen silenced Madison Southern’s bats while Whitley County collected 10 hits in the Colonels’ 7-3 win over Madison Southern.

Parman got the win, pitching four innings while allowing three hits and one earned run. He also struck out six batters. Allen followed suit and tossed three innings of no-hit, and shutout ball while fanning two batters.

“Really good day for the Colonels,” Whitley County coach Jeremy Shope said. “Brought a lot of energy and hit the ball really well. We even had a lot of loud outs. Cooper and Kip got it done for us on the mound. Go Colonels.”
