LEXINGTON — North Laurel’s eight-game win streak came to an end on Friday, but not before the Jaguars put up a fight.
Tates Creek broke things open in the bottom of the sixth by scoring four runs to knock off the Jaguars, 4-0.
North Laurel (13-8) couldn’t get much going at the plate, collecting only three hits.
Cooper Elza, Bradyn Evans, and Colton Stewart collected the Jaguars’ lone hits.
Evans took the loss on the mound despite allowing only three hits and three earned runs. He struck out five batters.
