CORBIN — Corbin hung tough through the but couldn’t overcome a late push by Rockcastle County on Friday, falling, 11-4.
The Lady Redhounds (3-10) showed fight, cutting into the deficit with a three-run fourth inning to stay within striking distance.
Allison Neeley led the way at the plate with a home run and three RBI while Chloe Bays also homered and added a multi-hit effort. Sawyer Stamper chipped in two hits.
Rockcastle County pulled away late, scoring four runs in the seventh to break the game open.
Corbin finished with seven hits but was hurt by four errors in the loss.
