Lynn Camp falls in high-scoring battle with Lake Center Christian, 26-17

In a wild, offense-filled game, Lynn Camp piled up 23 hits but couldn’t keep pace with Lake Center Christian in a 26-17 loss Thursday.

The Lady Wildcats showed fight all game, responding multiple times after falling behind early. 

After trailing 12-2 in the first inning, Lynn Camp answered with six runs in the third and later exploded for nine runs in the fifth to get back into the game.

Lily Henize led the Lady Wildcats at the plate, going 4-for-5 with three RBI and a home run. Julie Moore had a huge day as well, collecting five hits and scoring three runs, while Lorelai Prewitt added four hits and two RBI.

Alissa Weymers drove in three runs, two hits, and two runs scored, and Bella Gambell had two hits and three RBI. Lauren Partin connected with a home run, finishing two hits, two RBI, and a run scored. 

Lynn Camp finished with 17 runs on 23 hits but was hurt by six errors in the field that led to 13 unearned runs. 

Reagan Knuckles worked the bulk of the innings in the pitcher’s circle while Moore also saw action.
