FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — Cody Philpot’s Corbin Redhounds suffered their worst loss of the season on Monday, falling to Olentangy Berlin, 14-0.
The Redhounds (4-3) managed only one hit in the loss and committed four errors that led to three unearned runs.
Olentangy Berlin jumped out to a 4-0 lead after two innings of play before adding two runs in the third inning, three in the fourth, and five in the fifth.
Cam Estep delivered Corbin’s lone hit while Malachi Zachery took the loss on the mound, tossing 3.2 innings while allowing nine hits and six earned runs. Easton Hendrickson came in relief, lasting 1.1 innings while giving up four hits, and five earned runs.
