Bell County bats come alive in 11-1 win over Barbourville

PINEVILLE — Bell County broke things open with four runs in both the fourth and fifth innings, rolling to an 11-1 win over Barbourville on Friday.

After falling behind 1-0 early, the Lady Bobcats responded with one run in the second before erupting for six combined runs in the third and fourth innings to take control. Bell County added four more runs late to seal the victory.

The Lady Bobcats finished with 11 runs on 12 hits in a balanced offensive effort at the plate.

Adyson Scott led the way, going 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI while also earning the win in the circle. Scott tossed a complete game in the circle, allowing just two hits and one run while striking out seven.

Raegahn Moyers added a big night at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs scored, while Tristan Saylor went 2-for-3 and crossed the plate twice.

Addison Maiden contributed a hit and two RBI, and Kinsley Foster added a hit and an RBI as Bell County kept constant pressure on the basepaths.
