BOONEVILLE — Lynn Camp’s Lauren Partin turned in a 26-point effort while recording her 1,000th career rebound during the process but it wasn’t enough as the Lady Wildcats dropped a 71-55 decision to Owsley County on Thursday.
The Lady Owls’ Kamilla Marcum led all scorers with 29 points with 21 of those coming in the first half.
Lynn Camp trailed by only five points (36-31) at halftime before getting outscored, 35-24, in the second half.
Destiny Chancellor added 16 points for the Lady Wildcats while Aubrey Hollin added 12 points.
