HYDEN — Eli Pietrowski and Evan Ellis combined to score 15 points apiece during Monday’s contest against Leslie County, but it wasn’t enough as the Eagles captured a 79-64 win.
Trey Person added 12 points, and Mason Salmon’s finished with six points.
“Proud of my kids for controlling the things they could control,” Corbin coach Tony Pietrowski said. “We won’t let this sour our mindset, attitude or effort level. We plan to move on and finish this week up strong. We can then turn our attention to the district tournament.”
