RICHMOND — A complete team effort led to Williamsburg grabbing a 41-37 win over Model on Friday while improving to 9-13.
Abby Moses led the way with 17 points while Ellie Breeding and Braylee Evans added eight points apiece.
“So nice to be back on the winning side, especially on the road,” Williamsburg coach Melissia Douglas said. “Most importantly, I’m proud of how mentally tough our team was tonight. This win was truly a complete team effort.
“Abby Moses delivered another solid performance on both ends of the floor,” she added. “Braylee Evans, Ellie Breeding, Bella Jeffries, and Tia Brown handled and controlled the game with great composure—that’s major growth for each of them. I’m also very pleased with Marissa Meadors and Sammie Phipps. These ladies continue to improve every game and are growing in confidence. But honestly, every single player matters. I couldn’t be happier to see them earn this win together.”
