WILLIAMSBURG — It was a total team effort for the Corbin Lady Redhounds on Monday as twelve players scored during their 66-18 win over Williamsburg.
The Lady Redhounds improved to 12-9 overall and 3-2 against 50th District opponents while snapping the Lady Yellow Jackets’ (8-12, 0-6) three-game win streak during their process.
Corbin led 29-7 at the end of the first quarter, and 50-12 at halftime.
Aubree Clemons led the Lady Redhounds with 15 points while Lydia King added 11 points. Cami Price added nine points while Addy Wilson chipped in seven points.
“Happy with our effort tonight,” Corbin coach Isaac Wilson said. “We got to play a lot of kids and all of them came in and had an impact.
“We are mainly focused on us and what we can do to become the best basketball team we can be,” he added. “We have a lot of kids who are hungry to contribute to this team and that creates a very competitive environment. Hopefully, we can build off of tonight’s win and continue improving for a solid post-season push.”
Abby Moses led Williamsburg with seven points while Ellie Breeding finished with six points.
