WINCHESTER — North Laurel’s win streak has hit 13 games after recording an 81-51 win over Wayne County on Saturday during the Fox 56 Home Team Showcase.
The win also capped off a perfect 5-0 week for North Laurel.
The Jaguars (21-4) placed scorers in double figures with senior Reece Davidson’s 22 points leading the way. He also knocked down four 3-pointers. Kaiden Allen hit three 3-pointers and finished with 17 points while Cooper Elza added 15 points. Corey Cunagin added 13 points while Jordan Rawlings hit four 3-pointers, scoring 12 points.
“We are really happy to get the win,” North Laurel coach Nate Valentine said. “That was a first class event for our team. Our defense sparked us again tonight and allowed us to ge the lead. I thought we did a good job of sharing the ball and just making simple plays once settled in. I’m proud of our team for batting all week.”
