Red-hot Jaguars run win streak to 11 games with wins over OBI, and Red Bird 

North Laurel picked up two wins on Wednesday, defeating both Oneida Baptist and Red Bird, improving to 19-4 overall, 10-0 against regional teams and 8-0 against 49th District opponents. 
Nate Valentine’s squad has now won 11 games in a row. 

Game One
North Laurel 79, Oneida Baptist 47
Reece Davidson came up big against the Mountaineers, scoring 24 points in three quarters of action to help lead the Jaguars past Oneida Baptist, 79-47.
Corey Cunagin added 12 points while Cooper Elza and Ryder Davidson added nine points apiece. Ryder Davidson also hit three 3-pointers.
The Jaguars led 24-4 at the end of the first quarter, and 39-19 at halftime. North Laurel out the game away with a 26-point third quarter, leading 65-30 with eight minutes remaining.
Tommy Branstutter led the Mountaineers with 17 points while Skylar Roberts finished with 16 points. 

North Laurel 75, Red Bird 18
The Jaguars managed to capture win No. 2 on Wednesday thanks to a 75-18 win over Red Bird.
Thirteen players scored in the win as Cooper Elza’s 13 points led the way while Jordan Rawlings scored 11 points, and Reece Davidson finished with 10 points.
North Laurel led 26-5 at the end of the first quarter, and 54-8 at halftime.
Ashton Lewis led the Cardinals with seven points.
