Jackson County put together a dominant showing on Tuesday night, rolling past region opponent Williamsburg 86–18 in a lopsided victory.
The win marked the Generals’ fastest start to 11 wins since the 2007–08 season and tied their win total from last year. Williamsburg fell to 1–13 with the loss.
Jackson County wasted no time asserting control, jumping out to a commanding 35–3 lead in the first quarter and never looking back. The Generals carried a 63–8 advantage into halftime and stretched the margin to 71–14 entering the fourth quarter.
Eleven different players scored for Jackson County in the win. Wyatt Gray led the way with 11 points, while Wyatt Dunn and Tansen Truett added 10 points apiece. Tyler Sandlin, Quintin McQueen, and Braylon Combs each finished with nine points as the Generals showcased their depth.
Williamsburg was led by Andy Shelton with seven points. Lane Jeffries added five, while Colton Gobel and Trenton Cornett chipped in three points apiece.
