Hendrix steps down as Lynn Camp football coach

CORBIN — Lynn Camp High School is searching for a new football coach after Darrell Hendrix announced his resignation this evening.

Hendrix spent three years as the Wildcats’ head coach, and finished with a 10-22 record.

“Darrell Hendrix has resigned from his head football coaching position,” Lynn Camp athletic director Marc Estep said. “He has taken on a new position at the school level that will take up more time.

“The administration and myself are thankful for Coach Hendrix’s  hard work and commitment to the program,” he added. “We are currently taking applications, anyone interested in applying can do so on the Knox County Public Schools website.”
