Corbin came up just short on Monday, falling 59–55 to Navarre as the Lady Redhounds slipped to 6–3 on the season.
Corbin held a slim 16–13 lead after the first quarter and was tied with Navarre at 29 apiece at halftime. The Lady Redhounds remained within striking distance throughout the third quarter but trailed 43–38 heading into the final period.
Navarre was able to seal the win at the free throw line, knocking down 11-of-14 attempts in the game’s final eight minutes to pull away late.
Lydia King led Corbin with 19 points, while Aubree Clemens added 12. Addy Wilson chipped in eight points for the Lady Redhounds in the hard-fought loss.
