Slow Start Dooms Wildcats in Loss to Buckhorn

BUCKHORN — Buckhorn pulled away early and never looked back, handing Lynn Camp a 73–34 loss on Saturday during the Buckhorn ARH Christmas Classic.

Lynn Camp struggled to find an offensive rhythm from the opening tip and trailed 19–12 at the end of the first quarter. 

Buckhorn continued to build momentum in the second period, stretching its lead to 39–20 by halftime.

The margin widened even further after the break, as Buckhorn surged to a 64–30 advantage entering the fourth quarter, putting the game out of reach.

Eisen Mayo led Lynn Camp with 11 points, while Conner Mabe added 10. Kayden Powers chipped in five points as the Wildcats fell to 3–8 on the season.
