Eastern rolls past Williamsburg with 78-19 win 

PINEVILLE — Brandon Bargo’s Williamsburg Yellow Jackets had hopes of capturing their second win in a row, but struggled out of the gate during Saturday’s matchup against Louisville Eastern, and never recovered.

The Yellow Jackets struggled on both ends of the court, losing to the Eagles, 78-19, during first round action of the Third Annual Redmond Auto Group Holiday Classic.

Williamsburg (1-7) fell behind 28-4 in the first quarter, and never got back into the game.

The Eagles (9-1) led 50-8 at halftime and 62-11 entering the fourth quarter. 

Louisville Eastern had 11 players scored as Player of the Game Evan Hillerich led all scorers with 18 points. Tre Mack added 16 points while Kaleb Sargent chipped in 10 points. Aaron Miles and Josh Brock scored nine points. 

Reece Hatcher led the Yellow Jackets with 10 points.
