Lady Redhounds Finish Christmas Bash with Win Over McCreary Central

CORBIN — Corbin set the tone early and never let go Saturday, rolling past McCreary Central 64-47 to close the Redhounds Christmas Bash to improve to 5-2 on the season.

The Lady Redhounds came out firing from the opening tip, building a 24-11 first-quarter lead behind five 3-pointers.

Lydia King and Addy Wilson each hit two three-pointers apiece in the opening quarter, scoring six points apiece while Kalley Stewart added a three and five points of her own. Aubree Clemens also chipped in six points in the period.

The Redhounds carried the momentum into halftime with a 33-21 advantage, then continued to control the game on both ends. Corbin pushed the lead to 47-36 entering the fourth quarter.

King led the way for Corbin with 15 points, knocking down five three-pointers in a sharp shooting performance. Stewart followed with 12 points, while Clemens added 10 points.
