DANVILLE — Whitley County struggled on offense which played a big part in the Lady Colonels’ 54-28 loss to Danville Christian on Tuesday.
“We came out sluggish tonight in the first quarter and couldn’t recover,” Whitley County coach Ronnie Collier said. “We struggled to find any rhythm offensively. We will learn from this loss and use it as a stepping stone to get to where we want to be. We will get back at it tomorrow and start preparing for Martin County on Friday.”
The loss dropped the Lady Colonels to 3-2 while Maddie Hopkins led her team in scoring with 15 points.
