Green Dragons cruise to 86-30 victory over Lynn Camp

CORBIN — Harlan picked up its first win of the season, an 86-30 win over Lynn Camp on Monday.

The win improved the Green Dragons to 1-4 while the Wildcats fell to 2-5.

Kobe Noe scored 18 points in the win while Dylan Cox added four 3-pointers and 14 points. Legend Mimes finished with 13 points while Braxton Rowe scored 10 points.

“We were down a senior in Caleb Woods and that really hurt us,” Lynn Camp coach Marcus McKeehan said. “He is an experienced player and he sets the tone on the floor. We were in foul trouble early in the first half and that is going to have to be a huge focus for us.

“Landen Rose  really stepped up and played hard,” he added. “I can’t say enough about his effort and drive. DJ Wren plays hard every second he is on the floor. We will come back in and focus on improving the areas we’re struggling with. Right now, we’re sending out prayers to one of our former players, Ethen Chafin who was in a car accident earlier this afternoon. His absence on the court has been felt every game this season.”

Landen Rose led Lynn Camp with 20 points while Conner Mabe added five points.
