MIDDLESBORO — Millie Roberts turned in a game-high 27 points while Emily Lambert had 17 points as Middlesboro pulled off a 58-44 win over Owsley County.
The Lady Yellow Jackets led 23-20 at halftime before outscoring Owsley County, 35-24, in the second half.
“A win is always nice, but we still have some work to do to reach our goals,” Middlesboro coach Sally Adams said. “I’m proud of the effort and pressure we put in the back court.”
