Five 13th Region Soccer Players Earn East All-State Honors

LEXINGTON — The Kentucky High School Soccer Coaches Association has released its East All-State Teams, and four local boys’ players along with one standout girls’ player received recognition for their performances this season.

Boys’ Soccer

Oneida Baptist’s Hero Khajohnsupawatchara and North Laurel’s Jaxon Jacobs were both selected to the First Team East All-State, highlighting their impact as two of the region’s most consistent and dynamic playmakers.

Khajohnsupawatchara finished with 30 goals and 12 assists while helping the Mountaineers to the 49th and 13th Region titles.

Jacobs scored 23 goals and finished with 12 assists for the Jaguars.

On the Second Team, Oneida Baptist was represented by Amadeus Martin, while North Laurel’s Jaron Edwards also earned a spot. Both players were key contributors throughout the season and helped anchor their respective programs.

Martin totaled 17 goals and 17 assists for the Mountaineers while Edwards turned in a stellar season at the keeper position for the Jaguars. He finished with 181 saves and allowed only 52 goals. 

Girls’ Soccer

North Laurel standout Haley Combs received Honorable Mention on the East All-State list following a standout season in which she emerged as one of the region’s most dangerous scorers and playmakers.

Combs tallied 21 goals while dishing out two assists. She helped guide the Lady Jaguars to the 49th and 13th Region titles.
