CORBIN — Lynn Camp had hopes of capturing its second consecutive district win but Pineville had other thoughts.
The Mountain Lions did just enough to pull off a 16-8 win over the Wildcats.
Jonathan Slone threw a touchdown pass to Brennon Hill, giving Pineville an 8-0 lead with 4:28 left in the second quarter while a rushing touchdown by DJ Wren tied the game at eight apiece.
The Mountain Lions added another touchdown with 4:28 remaining in the third quarter to make the score, 16-8.
Pineville did just enough to hold on and pull off the win.
