The Oneida Baptist Institute Mountaineers made a clean sweep of the top honors in the 2025 Kentucky High School Soccer Coaches Association (KHSSCA) Region 13 All-Region selections, highlighting another strong year for the program.

Top Honors
OBI’s Hero Khajohnsupawatchahara was named Offensive Player of the Year, while teammate Beka Kassa took home Defensive Player of the Year honors. North Laurel’s standout goalkeeper Jaron Edwards earned Goalkeeper of the Year, and OBI head coach Hunter House was recognized as the Coach of the Year after leading his team to another stellar season.

All-Region First Team
The first-team lineup featured some of the region’s top talent, led by a strong OBI contingent that included Khajohnsupawatchahara, Henrique Gabardo, Amadeus Martin, Beka Kassa, and Blake Butler.
North Laurel had a strong showing as well with Jaxon Jacobs, Sawyer Miller, Eli Davis, and Jaron Edwards all earning first-team recognition.
Other first-team honorees included Rizzo Cima (Whitley County) and JP Carmichael (Corbin).

All-Region Second Team
The second-team selections were also packed with talent from across the region. North Laurel’s Reilly Stuber, Malik Turner, Zachary Jacobs, Cam Anderson, and Gavin Martin all earned spots.
OBI added Nahom Yuma, Makayas Dewitt, and Jonathan Fan, while Bryson Mahan (Whitley County), Leo Moses and Nick Parton (Corbin) rounded out the second team.

Honorable Mention
The Honorable Mention list recognized several rising stars and reliable contributors from across the region. Corbin placed Cameron Smith and Jackson Willis, while OBI’s Pietro Marcon Lee also made the list.
North Laurel’s Jordan McIntyre, John Thompson, and Colt Wilson were honored, alongside Whitley County’s Brody Moses and Hydro Cunningham.
South Laurel was represented by Blake Robinson, Ethan Emge, and Caleb Whitaker.
