Oneida Baptist’s season came to an end on Monday after dropping a 2-1 decision to Ashland during first round action of the KHSAA Boys’ Soccer State Tournament
Amadeus Martin scored Oneida Baptist’s lone goal.
The Mountaineers finished the season with an 18-4 mark.
“We ran into a very well organized and defensive Ashland team who played very hard and did a good job limiting our chances,” Oneida Baptist coach Hunter House said. “We went down 2-1 mid way through second half and threw numbers forward but just couldn’t find that tying goal. Really proud of this team and everything they accomplished. Tonight was not our night but we will reflect on all the positives throughout the season. They gave everything.”
