RICHMOND — Krystal Jones’ Corbin Lady Redhounds captured win No. 23 with a three-set sweep of Madison Southern on Thursday.
The Lady Redhounds won, 25-19, 25-22, and 25-23.
Corbin will finish regular season play Saturday with matchups against Bryan Station and Madison Central.
“Madison Southern is a talented team that really made us work tonight,” Jones said. “ It was exactly the kind of match we needed heading into postseason play. There are still some areas we need to tighten up, but that’s part of the process. We’ll use this weekend’s tri-match at Madison Central as another chance to fine-tune things and continue building momentum.”
