Yellow Jackets remain unbeaten, record third straight shutout win

PINEVILLE — Middlesboro captured its seventh win in a row over Pineville, rolling to an easy, 50-0 win on Friday.

The win improved the Yellow Jackets to 6-0. They’ve outscored their opponents, 148-0, during the past three weeks and has scored at least 50 points in two of those games.

Middlesboro (3-0 in district play) will meet up with Williamsburg Friday, and can clinch the district’s top seed with a win. 

The Mountain Lions fall to 3-5 with the loss and 1-2 in district play.
