WILLIAMSBURG —The Williamsburg Lady Yellow Jackets continued their strong late-season push with a convincing sweep over Barbourville, winning 25-9, 25-21, 25-15.
The victory improves Williamsburg’s record to 18-13, while Barbourville slips to 15-15.
Coach Dirk Berta praised his team’s energy and ability to bounce back after recent challenges.
“Great effort from our team tonight,” he said. “It was nice to get back in the win column. We had a great atmosphere with our student section! We got our offense back on track and passed the ball well. Very happy with the way that responded tonight to get back on track. As always, Go Jackets.”
