WILLIAMSBURG — The Lady Colonels kept their hot streak alive on Monday night, sweeping North Laurel 25-12, 25-16, 25-7 to claim their 10th consecutive victory.
With the win, Whitley County improves to 23-3 on the season while the Lady Jaguars fall to 5-11.
“Another good win over a region opponent,” Halcomb said. “I was glad to see our girls come out and play well after a long day of volleyball Saturday. I have a lot of respect for Coach Culver at North Laurel. She will build a good program. I thought we finished the match strong and with a lot of focus, but we need to keep improving in some areas of the game.”
