MANCHESTER — Oneida Baptist continued its strong season with an 8-0 victory over Estill County on Senior Night, improving the Mountaineers’ record to 13-3.
The scoring came from all over the field. Hero Khajohnsupawatchara netted one goal, Henrique Gabardo had two goals and two assists, Nahom Yuna finished with a hat trick, Joel Mpano added one goal, and Aden Gregory capped things off with a score of his own.
It was a memorable evening for the program, with the win coinciding with a celebration of Oneida Baptist’s large senior class.
“Was an awesome night celebrating our 14 seniors and two senior team managers,” Mountaineers coach Hunter House said. “They are a really special group of young men and deserved to celebrated. Really happy with the shut out win and that we were able to get everyone minutes. Senior Evan Luttell was our man of the match.”
