MIDDLESBORO — Larry French’s Middlesboro Yellow Jackets improved to 4-0 behind solid offensive and defensive play to knock off district foe Lynn Camp, 48-0, on Friday.
The Yellow Jackets took control of the game from the get-go, and never looked back while capturing the football program’s 699th win in the process.
Darrell Hendrix’s Wildcats never got on track Friday on both sides of the ball.
“We had a rough night,” he said. “I’m proud of my kids for battling. I had 19 kids dressed tonight so that makes it hard. We will use our bye week to heal up some injuries and get ready for Williamsburg.”
