HAZARD — The Corbin Redhounds put together one of their most dominant performances of the season, defeating Perry Central, 8-0, in boys’ soccer action.
JP Carmichael led the scoring with a hat trick, while David Castro added two goals. Jeffery Morton, Sebastian Witherington, and Blake Butler each chipped in one goal apiece.
The victory lifts Corbin to 5-4-1 on the season.
“Good game by the team in which we were able to move the ball well and create a lot of chances tonight,” Corbin coach Roger Taylor said. “We were also able to get a lot of guys some deserved time on the field. We are hoping to build on this win and carry it forward into the rest of the season.”
