North Laurel Opens Bass Fishing Season with Strong Showing

LONDON — The North Laurel Bass Fishing team kicked off its season opener with an impressive turnout and competitive results on Saturday.

“We’re proud of all the anglers who participated in Saturday’s tournament,” North Laurel coach Jon Sizemore said. “We so appreciate the captains and parents for their dedication and support.”

Leading the way were Tyler McGinty and Jordan Gambrel, who not only claimed first place but also earned Big Fish honors. Trey Smith and Noah Hickey secured second place, while Matthew Pellend and Samson Bolton rounded out the top three.
