RICHMOND — The Jackson County Generals put together an impressive team performance at the All A State Golf Tournament on Saturday at Gibson Bay, finishing with a combined team score of 305, good enough to tie for fourth place against some of the toughest small-school competition in Kentucky.
Leading the way for the Generals was Micah Summers, who carded a steady round of 73 (+1) — just four strokes shy of the winning individual score. His brother, Eli Summers, wasn’t far behind, turning in a strong 74 (+2).
Jackson Lakes added depth to the lineup with a 77, while Dylan Gay posted an 81. Rounding out the Generals’ scoring was Elijah Thomas, who battled through the challenging Gibson Bay course to finish with a 95.
