Oneida Baptist bounces back with 4-2 win over Wayne County

RICHMOND — The Oneida Baptist Mountaineers earned a strong 4-2 victory over Wayne County at the Tribe Shootout, using a balanced attack to secure the win.

Hero Khajohnsupawatchara led the way with a hat trick while also recording an assist. Henrique Gabardo continued his consistent play with a goal and an assist, while Amadeus Martin chipped in with another assist to help power the Mountaineers’ offense.

Coach Hunter House praised his team for showing grit and resiliency after recent challenges.

“Really proud of the boys for bouncing back after a really tough week,” House said. “Very physical game but we kept our composure and finished strong. We are gonna take this momentum into tonight and our district game coming up.”
