RICHMOND — North Laurel dropped its second straight despite fighting until the end, losing to Madison Southern, 25-13, 25-20, and 25-9.
“We came up short tonight against a very strong Madison Southern team,” North Laurel coach Lauren Stokes said. “I continue to see improvement in the girls’ communication and hustle. Preslee Collins had some amazing saves that allowed us to keep the ball in play and Hannah Daniels kept us in the game at the serving line. Overall, it was a tough loss, but we look forward to putting in the work to prepare for Whitley County on Monday. Go Jags.”
