SOMERSET — Dirk Berta’s Williamsburg Lady Yellow Jackets dropped their first match of the season, losing 25-21, 25-19, and 25-15 to Somerset Christian on Monday.
“Somerset Christian is a good team and a quality opponent,” Berta said. “Credit to them and their defense and attack offensively. We just need to get out of serve to receive and have better attacks. In order to reach our goals for this season, we will need to develop that ability and I have full confidence in this group and team that we will. We’re excited for the opportunity to play another quality opponent tomorrow at home. As always, go Jackets.”
