LONDON — South Laurel hung tough throughout its match with CHAT, but in the end dropped a 3-0 decision to open the season.
“We created a lot of scenarios where we really were beating ourselves,” South Laurel coach Shelley Nunley said. “CHAT is typically a team that takes every opportunity they’re given to win points, and we just gave them way too many free opportunities. Obviously this wasn’t the start to the season that we were looking for, but all we can do now is learn from it and get better tomorrow.”
