Corbin hosted Virginia’s Lee County High School in a “scrimmage” to help them get tuned up for another state title run.
“Very happy with Brady and Gambrel,” Corbin coach Joe Roberts said. “They hung tough today — shot two pretty decent scores. Lee County, top to bottom, is one of the best teams we will see all year. I would love to see them head to head with Clay, North and Pulaski. Talk about hard hitting golf.”
Corbin will travel next to Jonesville, Va. for the “Farmers and Miners” hosted by Lee High, but not as the team you would think.
They will be a COED team with Corbin girls duo, McKenna Myatt and Kaylin Watkins.
