Redhound golf turns in best performance of the season

CORBIN — The Corbin boys’ golf team shot a 356 during Saturday’s Jackson Energy Classic.
Led by a 79 fired by Brady Webb, the Redhound turned in their best performance so far of the young season.
“You ever heard of the injury bug on a Golf Team?,” Corbin coach Joe Roberts asked. “We got one. Brody Faulkner is out which hurts our team scores, but seeing Brady Webb challenging for All State Points today and improvement with the rest, when we get full strength I expect to be a little more in the mix.”
Corbin will tee things up at Burnside before heading to Jonesville, Va. in a COED event where they will team up with the Redhound girls’ duo of McKenna Myatt and Kaylin Watkins.”
