LONDON — The North Laurel boys’ golf team turned in a 13th place effort in the KGCA Invitational, finishing with a team score of 323.
Trinity placed first with a 282 while Fredrick Douglass, and Scott County tied for second with a 297.
Max Dotson led North Laurel with a 77 while West Storm finished with a 79, and Will Sutton shot an 83. Jayden Shultz turned in an 84.
“After losing seven seniors last year, we are starting this year young and hungry to improve,” North Laurel coach Chris Stone said. “We showed some of our potential. Much better scores and some great highlights with several birdies and just all around solid play. I’m pleased with the growth so far and look forward to the challenges this team is going to learn from.”
